1. The Agreement
By signing up for Alaf Server Cloud or downloading the Alaf Server software, you agree to these terms. If you're using our services on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms on their behalf.
2. The Software (Self-Hosted)
Alaf Server is open-source software under the Apache License 2.0. When you self-host the platform on your own infrastructure:
• You own your data entirely. We have no access, telemetry, or remote kill switches.
• You may use, modify, and distribute the software according to the Apache 2.0 license.
• The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
3. The Service (Alaf Server Cloud)
When using our managed cloud service:
• You remain the sole owner of all code, data, and intellectual property you deploy.
• You grant us a limited license to build, host, and serve your application to the internet, solely to provide the service to you.
• We may throttle or suspend resources that negatively impact the stability of the platform for other users.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Alaf Server Cloud to host:
• Phishing, malware, or command-and-control infrastructure.
• Crypto-mining or unauthorized distributed compute workloads.
• Services designed to launch DDoS attacks or port scans.
• Content that is illegal under applicable law.
Violation of these rules will result in immediate suspension without refund.
5. Billing and Refunds
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
• Resource usage beyond your plan limits will be billed at the standard overage rates listed on our pricing page.
6. Uptime and SLAs
Business plan customers are covered by a 99.9% uptime SLA. If we fall below this metric in a given calendar month, you are eligible for service credits as defined in the Business SLA supplement. The SLA does not apply to the Free or Pro tiers, nor does it cover downtime caused by your own code or external dependencies.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alaf Teknoloji shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or software.
